Traffic Control
The level of traffic control will increase from the outer “Controlled Area” to the “Core Area.” Relevant departments will increase frequency of inspections and degree of punishment for infractions accordingly.
While our trucking operations in the Hangzhou area are currently operating normally, flammable and dangerous goods logistics have been banned in Hangzhou territory already and OOCL Logistics has noted greater scrutiny by the police on general cargo logistics. More attention has been paid to maximum payloads, and stricter controls on truck emissions which have an effect of limiting trucks that can be used. The controls are already having an effect on truck transit times, causing changes in routing and longer times at inspection stations.
