To ensure compliance with your shipment processing requirements, OOCL Logistics provides a complete vendor education and management program. Experienced OOCL Logistics representatives specifically assigned to a customer’s business, work directly with key vendors providing instructions to ensure a smooth and comfortable transition to OOCL Logistics services and continued assurance that guidelines and requirements - as stipulated in each client’s operating procedures - are followed in each and every shipment.
Acting as the customer’s representative, OOCL Logistics can then monitor and report on vendor compliance. OOCL Logistics provides information on delivery discrepancies against the client’s operating procedure, and will tailor business intelligence to meet your needs; measuring performance indicators involving vendors, warehouses, carriers and OOCL Logistics.
Origin Product Management and Quality Assurance
OOCL Logistics provides a number of innovative inventory services designed to reduce costs, and improve cargo loadability and security – all value adding functions. Our services are conducted in our modern consolidation and warehouse facilities to meet the specific inventory preparation and management needs of each customer.
OOCL Logistics' global modern facilities can serve as quality control sites for package and shipment content inspection. Depending upon each customer’s needs and specifications, OOCL Logistics representatives, working in clean, secure facility areas, can inspect incoming cartons, as well as the merchandise they contain, for defects, damage, soiling, or other conditions that would make them unacceptable for further movement within the distribution pipeline.
These services, as well as others we can design, enable OOCL Logistics' customers to take advantage of our proximity to the supplier sources of shipments and ensure that the cargo entering the system is in acceptable condition and prepared to move smoothly through the supply chain.
OOCL Logistics also works with global quality partners to provide comprehensive inspection services. We tailor-make inspection and quality assurance programs to address the individual needs and logistics constraints of every customer - the goal being a “one-stop” quality assurance solution.
Supply Chain Security - It's Our Business Too
On February 1, 2003 OOCL Logistics and OOCL Logistics Line Limited (our OTI/NVO operation) both received formal U.S. Customs Service acceptance as certified members of the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program. OOCL Logistics was fully C-TPAT validated in October of 2003 after extensive interviews, review of certification materials submitted to U.S. Customs and Border Protection for the original certification process and explanation of OOCL Logistics’ Intranet personnel Supply Chain Training program. OOCL Logistics Line Limited was granted validation in November 2006.
OOCL Logistics works closely with customers to assist with customer C-TPAT certifications and validations.
