Accountabilities

  • ​To effectively maintain financial books of OOCL Logistics group HQ companies based on applicable rules and accounting standards, perform preliminary profits tax computation 
  • To drive local audit progress and assist in the review of draft financial statements of OOCL Logistics companies globally  
  • To facilitate the financial and accounting functions of all OOCL Logistics offices worldwide, provide guidance in terms of financial accounting controls 
  • To ensure proper month-end closing of the SAP Ledger and facilitate group financial reporting on a global basis 
  • To streamline work processes, assist in developing and refining accounting policies and guidelines 
  • To monitor monthly, quarterly and year end closing for all OOCL Logistics offices globally

Requirements​

  • Bachelor degree holder in Accounting or related discipline 
  • Qualified/In due course to be qualified accountant 
  • Min. 3 years’ work experience in the Accounting field  
  • Professional work experience in Big Four audit firms is preferred 
  • Experience in Logistics and Shipping industry is an asset 
  • Mature, self-motivated, deadline-driven and can work under pressure 
  • Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills 
  • Good in interpersonal, leadership and time management skills 
  • Computer literate in Excel/Word/Powerpoint/SAP/BPC  
  • Proficient spoken and written Chinese and English; good command of Putonghua is an added advantage 
  • Applicants with less experience will be considered as Senior Accountants
