OOCL Logistics Update – October 23, 2026

Potential Delays Due to Typhoon Champi

Typhoon Champi is disrupting shipping across Taiwan and China’s eastern seaboard, with pilotage and vessel movements restricted around the Changjiang Estuary, Shanghai, Ningbo-Zhoushan, and ports in Zhejiang, Fujian, and Taiwan. Temporary port closures, anchorage controls, and terminal-gate suspensions may delay berthing, cargo handling, container pickup, and feeder connections. Operations are expected to begin resuming around October 26, but congestion and schedule disruption could persist.
