On November 26, a devastating No. 5 alarm fire broke out at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong, resulting in heavy casualties. We are deeply saddened by this tragedy. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the residents who lost their lives and to the firefighter who died in the line of duty, sincere sympathies to the families of the victims and the injured, and our highest respect to the firefighters, paramedics, and all rescue personnel on the front lines.

To support affected residents through this difficult time, OOIL, a subsidiary of COSCO Shipping Group, will donate HK$10 million to assist with emergency resettlement and post-disaster relief for those impacted by the Wang Fuk Court fire. OOL fully supports the Government in assisting affected residents, and will provide further aid as needed.
