OOCL Logistics Expands OM Depot in Bangkok Thailand
March 26, 2026
OOCL Logistics is pleased to announce the
launch of a new joint‑venture OM depot in Bangkok, Thailand, in
collaboration with MPJ Group, effective January 2026.
Thailand’s container throughput continues
to show solid momentum, with Laem Chabang Port handling over 9 million
TEUs in 2024. The newly launched OM Bangkok Depot is designed to
strengthen OOCL Logistics’ end-to-end service capabilities in response
to the continued growth of Thailand’s containerized import and export
volumes. In addition to the existing joint venture depot in Laem
Chabang, this expanded depot in Bangkok further enhances inland support
and service efficiency in Thailand and across Southeast Asia.
Strategically located near the Lat
Krabang Inland Container Depot (ICD), a key rail linked logistics hub
connecting Bangkok with Laem Chabang Deep Sea Port, the new OM Bangkok
Depot benefits from direct rail access between inland terminals and the
seaport. It has expanded its total area by approximately 43% to 38,800
square meters. The facility offers storage capacity for around 3,000
TEUs and our handling capability of up to 10,000 TEUs per month.

The depot provides a comprehensive range
of services, including container handling, empty container yard
management, storage, cleaning, maintenance, and repair. Operations are
managed in house by OOCL Logistics’ experienced local team, ensuring
high standards of safety, security, compliance, and service quality.
With flexible capacity and 24/7 access, the depot supports efficient
cargo movement, container pick up, and empty container return, further
improving overall supply chain efficiency for customers.
